"With all the smart animals we've met - the more we take time to learn about them, the more we realize how amazing they really are. "Any excuse to be around animals, I'll take it!" said Betty in a recent interview for her two- part special, Betty White's Smartest Animals, premiering January 17, 2015 on Great American Country . What better way to celebrate her 93rd birthday than to have an animal show debuting on her special day.
Betty is on a mission around the US to find the most intelligent animals around. "I believe animals are a lot smarter than we ever realized, and their all around us", said Betty. Join her as she meets a dolphin, African bull elephant, and one of the most intelligent animals, the pig.
Betty is also reunited with her special friend, Koko, the Gorilla, who communicates with humans through sign language. Betty first met Koko in 2004 and they quickly became close friends. Koko's name for Betty, is Lipstick, because she noticed Betty wearing it.
Tune in to the premiere of Betty White’s Smartest Animals in America on Saturday, January 17 at 8/7 central.
You'll never forget it.
