The story begins with a stray white dog who was living in a parking lot and roaming the streets of Los Angeles CA in August of 2014. The dog was terrified and in bad shape with foxtails embedded in him.
Eldad Hagar from a non-profit rescue organization called Hope for Paws came out to help. The scruffy white dog was very frightened and found many places to escape. Finally, his rescuers blocked him with a soccer net and was able to catch him.
After this little guy was caught, he quickly went from terrified, to a happy little bundle of joy as he smothered Lisa Arturo, one of his rescuers, with kisses.
He was named Professor Einstein because he looked like the shaggy-haired professor. Einstein was groomed and the embedded foxtails were removed from his coat and body.
While he was recovering, Einstein was filmed for a TV appearance with Betty White, showing off his star quality. He later found his forever home with his new dad and best friend, Actor-director Emanuele Secci.
